About FSG

History

FSG History timeline

Facilities Services Group is now a privately owned company after the completion of an MBO in February 2011.

Facilities Services Group Limited was the trading entity through which Spice plc, a FTSE 250 support services business, operated its Facilities Services division.

Spice formed its Facilities Services division by acquiring three long-established owner-managed businesses in the sector, as follows:

September 2005 - Circle Britannia Limited and Serviceline Nationwide Limited

June 2006 - Breval Environmental Limited and Breval Technical Services Limited

March 2007 - Atlanta Facilities Limited

The Breval businesses were incorporated in 1977, Circle Britannia in 1993, Atlanta in 1996 and Serviceline in 2002.

In March 2008 Circle Britannia Limited was re-named Facilities Services Group Limited, and all of the operations were brought together within this one legal entity and this one trading brand. The newly integrated operation represents a broad service offering with a nationwide footprint, backed up by years of experience in the FM sector.
